If they paid me to read it... Nah, I still wouldn't read it. |

/shrug...its an awesome series for the most part. But to each their own. There have been some times when you've had some very slow buildups that weren't always that interesting, but they led to some great payoffs. |

Just read the Prologue and it was excellent. |

I'm still very interested in this. My hopes for this series have been quite high for over a decade. Hopefully they're not too high. |

So they've now released Chapter 2 audio only. So they've now released the Prologue as an ebook for $2.99, released chapter 1 online in both text and audio form for free, and chapter 2 in audio form for free. |

Yeah, saw that. I'm not double-paying for the prologue, and even though the prologue is usually non-essential for the immediately following chapters, I'd feel wrong skipping to Chapters 1/2. Since I'm not active on the speculation and whatnot fandom areas anymore, I'm happy to sit back and read Leigh Butler's summary (which is quite nice and thorough, but is itself a hefty chunk of reading) while waiting for the full book's release. |

Just a note to confirm, as you suggest, the prologue is not essential for Chapter 1/2. In fact Chapter two wouldn't require you to have read either chapter 1 or the prologue. Very slight Ch. 2 spoiler (just mentioning what character it focuses on) Spoiler: |
