Oh, you may never heard him perform the song before, but you've heard some other artist cover it. His writing was very prolific and quite popular with other musicians. |

Started around the same time as Bob Dylan. Eclectic career, prolific, and yes, many of his songs were made famous by other artists. Bird on a Wire has been covered by at least two dozen people you've probably heard of. Famous Blue Raincoat is another popular cover. Great talent. Sorry I never saw him live. |
