I think it's the 'old' ones that kinda get to me as much as the younger ones. Seeing celebrities... people I used to admire, or hate, or find entertaining in some way during my youth dying of old age... it kinda makes one ponder their own mortality... |

It definitely sucks for the legends to die. Rickman, Bowie, Fisher, all the rest. They weren't extremely old, so losing them is rough, and like you said, the mortality considering. But, I can console myself by knowing that even though 60 isn't OLD, it's not young either, and they'd had full lives. No consolation when that person is a still-discovering-themselves 25, nothing but sadness in that case. |
