So here is a web mini-series, I'm pretty sure it's amateur done. It's pretty good, I watched the whole first season. The characters are likable enough, especially if you come from the gaming world. It centers around a couple of IT help-desk roommates. It has a good overall plot, with surprisingly good cinematography and production which makes me hesitate to say it's amateur.
