Damn you, Katas ... you've reminded me of at least 2 comics that I used to read but lost track of after an OS re-install. I forgot to export my bookmarks and couldn't remember all of my daily strips, but I figured I wouldn't really miss anything I couldn't remember anyway. Now I've got to decide whether to start reading them again, and catch up on the months I missed, or just continue to let them slide.

Remind me to shake a fist in your general direction when you get here :P

Although he finished it up in 2005, if you haven't read Angst Technology over at Inktank, it's worth going back to it. He does another strip now that doesn't interest me much...

1. The link is wrong.
2. The original www.engrish.com that they are ripping off is better. :)

I think he ran out of brown pixels. That's why he had to end the Sapphire Guard, he ran out of blue ones.

I'd prefer if he updated more often, but it is free. What are you going to do? Sometimes it is best to stop reading for a while and come back a few months later for lots of updates.

Yeah, it's gotten stupidly slow. Thankfully someone introduced me to Giselle's "ménageà3" which is updated very regularly. She puts Rich to shame!

Devil's Panties is a pretty good one most of the time. And updates everyday.

Don't get me started. Freaking Megatokyo updates like, once a month...and even when it does update, the story doesn't progress at all. You could come back after a year and the story would still be on the same in-comic day as when you left it.

I came back two years later, with MT. It had gone to the next day.

Found this tonight. Seems semi new, as in it started this year. Only updates once a week though. But once you see it, you will understand why. The story so far is fantastic.

If anybody has in the past followed my recommendation for Alpha Shade, the comic is officially off hiatus, with a new page up as of today. Expect it to fall into a roughly weekly schedule. There's also almost 250 pages of backlog if you haven't read it before. It's a fantastic graphic novel.
