Nathan Fillion as Hawkeye becomes more likely.

Should be interesting. Whatever happened to him and Wonder Woman though?

Warner Bros. said they wanted to go in a "different direction." I haven't seen any further movement on it since, though. *shrug*

FarSky, you're supposed to have a deep voice, why do you squeal like a little girl? I see the series of es and think who let the tweeny catgirls out.

I think that was him wetting his pants.

And, it can't be tweeny girls, there's no sparkely vampires in this thread.

Nice! I've wanted to see a direct translation of the first issue of The Ultimates. We might even get something better than that.

Seriously, I can't believe that even anyone who dislikes Whedon could possibly believe that the previous writer of The Avengers, Zak Penn, should be entrusted with the script. That shitstain gave us Elektra and X-Men: The Last Stand, for God's sake.

Plus, Whedon is one of the most highly-regarded writers around. And the man holds an Academy Award nomination for writing, for crying out loud.

I don't know anything about the script for Captain America, but even putting aside my affinity for Whedon's work, I love the idea of having a common architect of the series, to maintain a unity of vision. I'd love for Marvel to make Whedon into the film counterpart of their comics' Brian Michael Bendis.

I'm not a fan of raping-cannibalistic hulk. So I don't want a DIRECT translation of the Ultimates. But I definitely like Ultimate Cap and Thor far more than their standard MU cousins. Especially Thor.

As for Joss, I'm ok with him doing this. I still think Alien Resurrection is a steaming pile (and yeah, I've heard the excuses and "real reason" for it.... it's ok, fans. Nobody is perfect. Everyone is allowed to suck now and then). But I think for the most part he does a pretty good job.

*shrug* Alien Resurrection's script was fantastic. Try reading it.

Also, even with that little French **** at the helm, it's better than Alien3.

Furskee, on a related note I miss the days when it was cool to walk around with a pipe in your craw all day.
