Been interested in seeing this ever since the TF2 parody trailer. It was finally released as an insta-watch for Netflix. I thought it was decent. But my main, big problem I have with this movie is the same big problem I have with "Falling Down." Basically, the movie sets the audience up to sympathize with the main character (much, much moreso in this one than in Falling Down). But, at some point in both movies, the director wants the audience to reverse their sympathies for the main character. I don't know about the average person, but my sympathies don't easily and quickly flip-flop. I was rooting for Michael Douglas pretty much to the very end in Falling Down. And while I disagreed with LAC's main character's actions, I agreed with his M.O. The movie built me up to feel that way and reinforced it several times. But it then decided it didn't want me to feel that way anymore, and asked me to switch sides. I have a problem with that. Overall, it was worth a watch. Not something I'd own though. |

I liked this movie. Not an "I will own" but a definite "glad I watched" |

I did not like the ending of Law Abiding Citizen. Really ... He'd NEVER be that careless. |

That was my issue with it as well, Khross. The only way I can "justify" it to myself, is to think that he wanted to make himself pay for the harm he had done. He made his point, he killed some bad guys, and then let Jamie Foxx win to atone for his crimes. If I don't tell myself that, then the ending really ruins the rest of the movie. |

It's like "The Game." Don't think about it much after it's over. Either way, my other problem with the movie overshadowed any plot holes/inconsistencies. |

Well yeah though, "The Game" made sense internally. Sure, it was kinda over the top and ridiculous in its execution. But there wasn't really a moment in it like in LAC that made me sit up and go Wait... what? |

Batman could have gotten him faster and everyone else too. Batman is awesome. There have been a glut of father-revenge movies of late for some reason. I always wonder at these Hollywood weather patterns. |

It was after the credits rolled and me thinking about the mental state of Michael Douglas after he'd been through all of that. |

Yeah, he should have been way more messed up than he was. He should have at least pounded the **** out of his brother for all that. Here's how it should have ended: Spoiler: |
