Saw the trailer when I went to Iron Man 2 this weekend.

Looks like they've gone full out. It's going to be a great visual show at least, hopefully the plot will be decent as well.

Exactly how high a bar is that? Like, do Friday's qualify as something that makes you want to touch yourself, or is it more like a "days ending in y" kinda thing?

I love the work they did de-aging Jeff Bridges. The Dude's lookin' like it's 1982 again!

Tron: Legacy has recently undergone reshoots...after having some of the Pixar brain trust (notably The Incredibles and The Iron Giant animation legend Brad Bird and Toy Story 3 scribe Michael Arndt) come in and beef up the script.

Wait, Brad Bird's still with Disney, not Pixar?

And I am totally okay with Bird and Arndt getting in on this.

They've brought in even more of the Pixar staff for the upcoming Muppets movie. John Lasseter, Brad Bird, Pete Doctor (director of Monsters Inc. and Up, Andrew Stanton (director of Finding Nemo and Wall-E), Michael Arndt, Bob Peterson...all these and more. Plus Muppets.

Frickin' cool.

I might watch that.

BTW, what were your thoughts on "Inception?"

"under the new regime of studio head Rich Ross and Bailey"

Heh. I wonder if "Rich Ross" had to change his name because he didn't want the title "head of Disney" in the same sentence as "Rick Ross."

Every day I'm hustlin...hustlin...

I am pretty easy so the bar is pretty low. That being said, the thread you linked is gag inducing.

Slightly different trailer (with more awesomeness).

http://www.imdb.com/video/imdb/vi3320907289/

And yes, I agree, the de-aging they did on Bridges looks really good. Color me impressed.

And another Tron related (kind of) video. Warning, very likely NSFW!
