You're being much too kind Aegnor.

It has decent scenery, of both the geographic and naked woman variety.

The actors seem competent enough.

The script is terrible. There are dozens of plot holes. Timng is miserable. The plot makes very little sense. Too much is thrown away with no explanation, the book might give clues but the movie leaves me not wanting to read it.

At best it seems like a b-movie trying to be an art film, with totally incompetent direction and production.

The tip off that this is going to be a miserable flick is in the opening credits. A long drive, no action, no dialogue.

Skip the theater, skip blockbuster, skip Netflix, skip the Red Box, only see it if its free and you have two hours to lose that you won't want back no matter how excruciating the movie is.

Alternatively, if you like Italian women who are dark skinned with a nice figure and take their clothes off regularly, the prostitute, the oddly named Violante Placido, is easy on the eyes. Just don't turn up the sound.

I was amazed when I saw the runtime was only 105 minutes. It felt much longer.

I just thought it felt like a 70's movie is all.

Oh my god. Worst movie I've ever seen in a theatre. I would give it maybe a half star, and I'm trying to be kind.

Thanks for the heads up. My son was talking about going. He can go alone.

Hmm. Nothing like watching nudity with your mom.
