I don't think there's 30 movies that I'd want to watch.

You have a sickness Dark.

Yeah, wait till it gets it's hooks in. I think I have about 450 movies/tv shows in my queue.

Good stuff!

And now we know why Blockbuster is filing for Chapter 11 protection.

I think my queue is sitting around 125 or so. Plus I just got the new Tivo, so I can watch all the watch instantly stuff pretty easily on the TV.

You're supposed to be able to do it with the XBox, but I only got that to work once.

My kids are always watching stuff in the watch instantly on the computer or the iPad. Netflix is pretty awesome. The only real downside is I wish the watch instantly selection was bigger.

The instant selection list is growing at a rapid rate. It's leaps and bounds ahead of where it was at when I first signed up (the day it came out for Xbox Live). There have been several movies that I've thought "Man I wish that was on insta-watch" and have since come out.

Insta-watch is the way of the future, and it's starting to sink in. Between that and Redbox, yes it truly is no wonder why Blockbuster is filing for chapter 11. I, personally, am not sad to see Blockbuster go.

My emotions of seeing a brick & mortar rental store came and went with Movie Buffs long, long ago. A store Blockbuster ran out of business. It's the Circle of Lif.....er... Business.

Yeah, LK and I are making our way through The Shield and the last two season were on instawatch but now they aren't. Sucks that we have to keep sending for the DVD to finish out the series.

I think we are going to watch OZ once we finish with The Shield and Nip/Tuck but it's not on instawatch either.

I think that is the worst part of the instant queue, when they put half a series on instant and the other half is DVD only.

Now if we can only find a way to break the Movie Houses' monopoly on first run status...

It's a shame the Canadian library for Netflix blows. :(

I miss that from the States.

so... when you watch something on the instant queue... is it removed from that queue?

No. It's there until you remove it. Which is why mine is still so damn big. I'm too lazy sometimes. :D

But a great feature is: the queue will always remember where you last left off of *any and all* movies/shows you've partially watched. Even two years later, it will remember that you were only 17% of the way through Garbage Pail Kids: The Movie so that you can sit back and not enjoy where you last left-off in disgust.

I'm pretty (90%) sure this applies to all instant movies, even ones not a part of your queue.

So I will never be able to clear out "Garbage Pail Kids"?

I tried... I really did, since it was instant watch.. and I got 5 minutes in and wanted to hang myself.

They will also remember where you were across multiple devices too, so you can start it on one gadget and finish it on another.

Or until Netflix removes that title from their "watch instantly" list. I've lost a couple of movies that way before I got around to watching them.

Isn't it $7.99 for their unlimited plan in Canada?

Yeah, but the selection is much, much smaller then what users in the States have access 2.

@Kaffis,

I'm not a permanent transplant to Canada yet, still working on that process. But I've been living in Canada for blocks of a few months at a time with Divinity in between cycling back to the states to take care of other obligations on that end.

But I guess this began last December.

One of the best sites for netflix is instantwatcher, its much quicker than Netflix and IMHO easier to find stuff, probably because of my archaic work computer where I use most of instantwatch, but i love instantwatcher.

Yah thats just dumb, the fact I couldnt even get to Hulu 5 minutes from my house across the Ambassarod bridge in Windsor is also dumb...

I might have to check that out. Taamar, in particular, has complained recently about how hard it is to find stuff on Netflix.

Just click the X button on the right side of the title in the instant queue on the website, or on the 360, select the item, and hit "remove from queue". That should get rid of it.

Unfortunately, for things like "Garbage Pail Kids: The movie", they don't have the option of "Burn every remaining copy and print and remove from society's collective consciousness." That would be convenient.

I did that already.... I was wondering if I had the option to make it hidden so it did not show in my history. That way I can deny ever putting it on my TV.
