awwwww I always thought Lou was pretty good as live action Pre-Super Mario. I was quite saddened when the Mario Cartoons changed themes and went away from the "Super Show" skits to those other guys.

He was always a lot of fun. Rest in peace Captain.

I didn't care much for the Super Mario Bros. Super Show when it was on the air. But I will always have fond memories of it because it was the show I watched with my first girlfriend and my first "holding hands." (Madonna's "Cherish" also gets the same honour)

RIP Lou.
