It's a really good show. Does anyone else watch?

I finished watching Season 2. It was fantastic. I don't want to start Season 3 because the first episodes are not on Netflix yet, or On Demand with Comcast.

Necropost.

My brother and his wife flew in for thanksgiving and stayed the night at my place before heading up to my mother's to spend the week. He strongly recommended I watch this show.

It's extremely difficult to get me to watch a new television show. I hate being chained down to non-interactive entertainment. But, I finally caved.

I have to say, I love this show. It's far, far better than "The Office." I originally enjoyed the hell out of The Office and watched the first three seasons in one weekend. But then (spoiler) Jim and Pam finally got together and the thrill of the chase was gone. And what I was left with was interesting and fun, but not as much. And then as the seasons wore on, the characters became less interesting and funny. Now I don't even bother with the show.

But Parks and Rec, all of the characters are strong characters and they support the show in a way that The Office cast wishes they could.

As I've said before, it's like The Office, but funny.

I love all of these characters. I actively enjoy spending time with them. That's rare in a show.

I quite dig the Blonde Chick ;)

But I can't quite remember her name off the top of my head.

Her and Tina Fey..

Who I cannot stand. I've not liked a single thing she has done. Even on SNL I didn't care for her. It has prevented me from watching this show.

She plays a much different character on this show than she has in general. Usually she plays the messy joke (as in that horrible movie with her and Tina Fey), but she's actually very likeable in this.

Also, if you like sketch comedy, you owe it to yourself to check out the Upright Citizens Brigade series that she co-wrote. As with all experimental comedy, some misses, but some sketches that my wife and I still quote and laugh about 10 years later.

I've liked her even before she was on snl. She was a regular on Conan Obrien and played Andy's sister that had a crush on Conan.

Honestly her character on this show is a female Michael Scott.
