Cute, charming anime. It feels like they let the actors ad-lib a lot of the script to good effect.

Yep, its pretty good. Can't speak to a dubbed version, a lot if the puns feel English based.

Ah, it appears to have been written by the guy who did Gurren Lagann. Now it makes sense.
