Alternate history, not post apocalypse as I thought from the trailer. The setting does appear to be post apocalypse because of details of the history, but it isn't.

Decent flick, decent action, go see it if you want to - but if you want to wait for NetFlix or Red Box, that would be reasonable too.

If it does well it could be the first in a series, but I don't think its going to do THAT well. Then again some series have been made from much worse movies.

I watched this movie today; it wasn't bad. They had a bunch of horror movie trailers before the show, so I thought it would be a scary movie, but it wasn't, really. There were some jump-out-at-you scenes, but they were pretty predictable. The biggest shock was that they managed to make Maggie Q not sexy at all. I was amazed by this since I had just watched Balls of Fury a couple of days ago, and she was really hot in that.

They kinda left the ending open, but that was more in a world building sense than a sequel sense. I felt that the storyline was closed, and they don't need to expand upon the particular characters portrayed in this movie.

This movie looks like the weird RP universe of some odd anime forum.

We just saw the movie. We enjoyed it for what it was (largely that it was better than Mutant Chronicles).

It was short. I think there's a lot of backstory that could have been added. And darn it, more scenes with the other priests.

But Karl Urban. Nom. (He had his Clint Eastwood on.)

Is it pretty much just two hours of the priest from Dead Alive? Because I would watch that.

Seriously getting tired of movies with Paul Bettany cast as the religious nut.
