More and more of my TV time is going towards non-commercial TV (i.e. netflix, etc...).

I think this is making me less tolerant of annoying commercials...

This one makes me want to throw large solid objects at my TV..

This one takes a close second...

Dragon was painful and long.
AT&T made me lol. Hadn't seen either before.

Filling the Internet with even more cats is probably my least favorite right now. Was watching something on CBS.com and that's all they showed me

Anything by Geico outside of the ones where they dramatize a colloquialism.

Yes. They have the greatest ad campaign in recent years with that. They can stop doing Gecko commercials.

Usually companies keep one theme goin through their commercials and stick with it Geico seems to be running 3 unrelated themes

Nah. The Mayhem commercials from Allstate are better, as a whole.

We'll just have to agree to disagree. Not that Mayhem isn't good.

I can't tolerate commercials anymore. It's either DVR, Netflix, or nothing.

I stopped the first one exactly 4 seconds in because I saw the total clip was 5 minutes...guess that means I agree with you.

Holy crap, that car's windshield can withstand the force of raindrops. Whoever invented that technology should get a Nobel Peace prize.

You missed the point. The ad was about engineering wiper blades that were able to stay on the glass at 190 mph.

Think about what that represents.

It's just a strong metal clasp... unless you're being facetious. I can't tell at this hour.

I'm being 100% straight here. And no matter how strong your "clasp" is, aerodynamics are a *****.

But there's something else, very critical, that you're missing.

Well if the police's windshield wipers don't work as well... it could be a good getaway vehicle if you plan your robberies on rainy days.

lol. A hundred and ninety miles an hour... there's no way you could get that kind of speed anywhere urban. Maybe Wyoming or Montana or something.

And sadly, that commercial runs the full five minutes on Science Channel late at night... Supremely annoying....

What's worse, it usually comes on when i'm in middle of doing something on a guitar that prevents me from grabbing the remote and changing the channel..

For me the most annoying commercials lately have been the HORRIBLE ones they put right into the center of shows. Bones, for example, has had several moments where they actively demonstrate a new feature of the car they are driving. I realize it's because everyone has a DVR and online and is skipping the commercials, so the advertisers are reacting to that, but still, whomever got that idea pushed through should be hung up by their thumbs.

If they want people to watch commercials, they need to be as entertaining as tv shows. This is very difficult to accomplish so until then they shouldn't have commercials.

I don't think stealth advertising is a bad thing. People don't want to watch commercials, but want free content. It seems like a viable answer. I'd rather see a "one or the other approach.

Also this is hardly anything new.

True, but it used to be "stealth". As in a character passing another character a coke or something. Now the character stops the scene and says "Would you like a drink of my nice refreshing coca cola? It's the only soda with blah blah blah." So much more aggressive.
