More a post of notice than discussion, but it's a great period pulp adventure piece, and the only other home video release it's seen was a shitty non-anamorphic transfer that's persisted for years. Good to see it's finally getting its due.

Yay! I hope this release is better than the DVD I have.

About time. A very underrated movie, overlooked movie.

Definitely not a bad movie. Almost a comic book hero movie from the 90s, but one that was actually good.

That and you have Alan Arkin and Jennifer Connelly. That should be enough for most to see it right there (but for different reasons).

What do you mean "almost" a comic book hero movie from the 90s?

It was a movie. Based on a comic book. What more do you require to fulfill your definition?

Yeah, it was beautifully recolored a few years back and re-released as a collected edition. The original was the solo work of Dave Stevens, back in the 80's.
