Ok I apparently missed this. I knew that Mike Judge was over his B&B burnout and had the itch to go back to them. But apparently it was more than just wishful thinking.

It looks like all new episodes are back on MTV. It also looks like you can watch the first episode on mtv's website.

B&B is one of those shows that looks like it appeals to low-brow idiots, but anyone with average intelligence will see that it's less about making adolescent jokes and more making fun of it's own protagonists all the while making scathing social commentaries.

I love it. I am glad it's back.

I caught the first episode on broadcast, the Twilight one. It was hilarious.

Even better than the original run, let's see if he can keep it up.

Are they still teens in high school? Has it been updated for modern times? B&B was certainly rooted in the early 90s and it shows.

Numbuk,

The characters have not changed at all. In that respect, it's as if there has been no break from the earlier episodes and now. What has changed is that the boys now watch current MTV programming instead of music videos.

I was actually surprised and a bit disappointed at how perfectly identical it was to the original. I thought they would have 'updated' it just a bit, in some way. I thought it was okay, but a bit outdated at this point.

Yup. On the surface it looks retarded, but there is also great social commentary and comedy gold, and probably zillions of secondary things that in sum make it a worthwhile show.

I haven't laughed at anything this hard since Archer.

Brilliant!

It is indeed back, however, the voice for Beavis is a good deal deeper than it was. I was a little worried for the show at first. But even making fun of Jersey Shore was hilarious.

And they do still watch music videos. If that's your favorite part of the show (as it was for every true fan), you should consider downloading them. The BnB community has had a hell of a time recovering all the originally aired episodes, complete with uncensored content.

Oh yeah, and they can say "FIRE!" again. I noticed they used it quite liberally in the first episode back. Considering the crap South Park gets away with these days, what BnB did in the 90's was super-tame. Well, okay, huffing gas was still kinda bad. But still...

Just saw an episode. Ahhhh. It is good that they're back!

I noticed that Judge's Beavis voice is a little deeper too back when he was doing radio promos for the DVD release a few years back. I guess 20 years later a forced gravelly voice isn't going to sound quite the same. It's still way better than any Beavis impression I've ever heard.

They are definitely able to both grasp more abstract concepts as well as draw deeper conclusions than the original show where they were prepubescently stupid and almost neanderthal in terms of intelligence. An awesome new approach IMO.

Wow, she's a terrible actor.
Wait a minute, I think this is real.
That just means she's not a terrible actor... she's just a terrible person.

If they did this chart long enough, they could find out where herpes began.
