RIP. Wow, not a fan of his eponymous show, but it's astonishing how much better everything plays without canned laughter. |

If you've never seen or heard of "No Time for Sergeants", I highly recommend it. One of the best comedies of its time. |

I am watching the Andy Griffith Show in tribute right now, I am on Season 1, episode 5. He actually abused his authority more frequently than not... |

Oddly enough I've probably seen more episodes of Matlock than I have Andy Griffith Show. Still, he was a very likable character actor and he will be missed. |
