I have 12 movies that I bought on DVD/Blu Ray that came with a digital copy...

Alice in Wonderland
Blue Harvest
Clash of the Titans
The Day the Earth Stood Still
The Final Destination
Fright Night
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince
Iron Man 2
Lost Boys: The Thirst
A Nightmare on Elm Street
Planet 51
Wanted

Due to an incident with a previous digital copy and a windows reload... (I lost the digital copy use due to a windows reload) I began to use iTunes for all of my licensed digital copies. But since I am moving away from iTunes and Apple I am trying to figure out how I can move these copies to an unprotected format so I can just watch them in Windows, any suggestions?

I tried (and failed) with Handbrake/DVD Shrink, which is how I have done DVD backups in the past.

Again, this is for Home use, with DVDs I own and Digital Copies of the movies I have legitimately purchased, and is not (nor will it ever) be distributed to anyone for any reason.

oh... and as a note: "watch better movies" is not a valid suggestion LOL

I think downloading pirated versions is probably the easiest option.

I haven't found a way to convert/rip iTunes movies (or Amazon Instant Video, or Google Play, or anything else) to strip out the DRM.

I'm sure they exist, I just haven't found them.

Cant you just handbrake the physical media, given that you own it?

At least one of them was Blu Ray plus digital copy, but did not include a DVD copy, I will need to see which one that was though...

And thank you, the obvious eluded me.
