So apparently ScarJo is now the lead of the live action Ghost in the shell that Spielberg has been trying to get off the ground for years. Interesting.

And directed by the dude who made Snow White and the Huntsman, which I didn't hate.

True. But it also wasn't... good. Still, at least we'll know Ghost will have some beautiful visuals.

Yeah, that was pretty much my feeling on it.

I was commentin to some friends that I want Vin Diesel as Batou and Benedict Cumberbach as the voice of the Puppet Master.

Well, we know from Under the Skin that Scarlett's not afraid of doing nudity. So I think the best we can hope for is that they go buck wild with it, a little bit of the old ultraviolence. Likely though, it'll be a PG-13 shitfest with any subtext removed so as to not confuse the audience.

Snow White and the Huntsman would have been fantastic if they would've picked someone (anyone) other than Kristen Stewart. The *****, flat out, can't act. And casting someone who constantly looks like she has a nasty combination of constipation and hemorrhoids as "the fairest in the land" is doomed to fail.

That being said, I loved the visuals, the soundtrack, and the darker theme of the movie. I also thought Charlize Theron was phenomenal.

It's been a LONG time since I saw Ghost in the Shell, but I'm kinda looking forward to this. Especially after seeing Lucy.
