Too bad.

Ebert was hands down the best movie critic out there, bar none. And for one very simple reason, he loved movies. Too often critics get all wrapped up in nit picking a movie to death because they feel they have to find something wrong with it to be taken seriously. Ebert wasn't afraid to just say, this is a fun movie. It has it's flaws but I like it anyway.

My biggest problems I had with him was his extreme bias against cgi and his unwillingness to accept video games as an expression of art in entertainment.

Other than that, I respected his opinion. He seemed willing to enjoy a fun, dumb flick for what it was (usually).
