I honestly don't care. I didn't pay to see the first two FF movies, I won't pay to see this one.

As far as I color goes? They should make all four of them black.

Mr. Fantastic and Johnny will be gay. There will be at least one joke about RR being able to change the size of his penis.

Change Ben Grim into a woman. She is Mr. Fantastic's EX, who had such a hard heart, she made him turn away from women forever.

Cast Beyonce' as Sue, make her the leader of the team and will pretty much be Malice from the comics.

The villian??? Namor. He brings his Atlantian army to New York to destroy the humans living there for all the garbage they have dumped in the sea. He will call Richards and J. Storm abominations in the sight of God and swears an oath to destroy them.

The oath will be the last thing you see in the movie.

Yes, it is a slow night at work.

I don't know what to say about this. If he does a good job then more power to him. Then again I thought the torch we had was pretty good. However i don't like the implication of the site that we've been purposfully racist in super hero selection.

Samuel Jackson makes a good Nick Fury. Because of the Ultimates version, he fits into their retcon of who Nick Fury is. He is not the Nick Fury I grew up with though. He will always seem wrong in the part to me. He is a great actor and I really enjoy his work, but no, it doesn't work for me. Does this make me racist? If they change the Human Torch to a black man, they better kill off or otherwise inactivate the original version for the FF. That is the only way it is going to work for me. Fifty plus years of a teen and young twenties image being changed and I'm being unreasonable because I don't like it? Fine, lets change from the Bald Eagle to the Wild Turkey as the national symbol for America. Lets put Mexico on top of the USA and Canada below. Mess with reality all you want, leave my iconic superheroes alone. If you want black and other ethnic superheroes, use the ones that exist or create new ones. Don't paint the ones we have different colors because it might appeal to a demographic you want. Oh, and while we're at it, lets make Martha Washington Chinese, Florence Nightingale Arabic, and Joan of Arc Vietnamese.

There's a difference between a character's definition being "white" and being "default" (which was, and honestly, remains, "white"). The Fantastic Four are the latter. Would it matter if Storm was played by an actor outside of the character's established race? Yes, that would be problematic. Same with Black Panther, or Warpath, or Sunfire, or Thor. Their racial heritage is part of their character makeup. The FF? Nope, they're just white because that's how you made superheroes in the 1960s. Cast Jordan. He's a damn fine actor and will kick *** as Johnny Storm. Edit: removed Cracked article link discussing this issue. It touched on many aspects of it, in much more depth than I have done myself, but the site's tendency toward hyperbole unnecessarily and incorrectly implied that I think people making the argument are necessarily racist.

So apparently liking how the character has been portrayed for decades makes one a racist. If Johnny Storm can be black, the Thing can be purple, Dr Doom can be Mongolian, Thor can be Italian, and Luke Cage white as long as we find a good actor for the part.

White was Marvel's Default, but DC was using non-white headliners, including Black characters, from WWII forward -- see America's Finest (though, not technically super-heroes in most cases). So, changing up Johnny Storm and the Fantastic Four? I dunno ... you can't do any worse than the other two movies.
