The Glade 4.0

I accidentally let the upkeep expire when I came home late and forgot to log in like I had intended. I repositioned it a bit because some guy encroached on its original location enough that it was in the buffer zone.

It's slightly south of the old location, on a steep slope that I plan on building a structure into the exposed face of. Haven't decided between a fortification built into a cliff face or more of a dwarven temple kind of thing. Earlier today, I was toying with the idea of recreating the temple from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade...

Well, I tried a couple times, but the tech issues turned me off to this until they do an optimization patch. I just can't play with all the stuttering

Lots of good changes in the patch today. My breakdown of the good stuff:

• Pretty much all crafting recipes have been overhauled material-wise to be more in line with tiers
• All metals and their pairings have been updated. Can no longer mine half a vein and need to leave the second half underground untouched.
• New props like stained glass windows and light orbs
• You can now swap hotbars with CTRL + 0-9
• General bug fixes

Crim, I just made a change that gave me an extra 20 fps and made the game much better.

Kaffis: I've got all crafting stations under my icicle roof now if you need them.

Went to a destination wedding in Mexico City twelve hours before they decided to raise upkeep limits to 8 days. Unfortunately my four claims are now gone.

Time to start fresh.
