I think there are three folks in the guild who need something from Plane of Fear. I think we realized on our first forays into the zone that this is going to be a challenge for us at this level. Definitely do-able if we can get sufficient resources together, but challenging otherwise. The logistics of this is, we need to coordinate getting enough people online together, at a time when fear is populated (at least with the mobs we need). I've noticed that some of the higher level players have started coming back to old world zones to plow through their epic 1.0 quests, presumably so they can quickly move on to 1.5 and 2.0. This is a bit of a switch from a few weeks ago when hardly anyone was killing epic mobs. Anyway, I'd be happy to camp Raz in Fear to log in and check on the zone spawn status periodically. I guess what I'd like see is a conversation about getting the interested parties together to discuss the logistics of being online at the same time to get this done. Also, on a related note, I have it on good authority that mercs will step on and take a death touch for us, so that is one less logistic we have to worry about. As far as clearing the zone, I think the main worry is dracoliche. He may be doable for us if we can get him while we are fully buffed and prepared. Unfortunately the last two times we encountered him, he was an 'add' and we were not able to manage it. Anyway, lets have some discussion about trying to coordinate doing this? |

I PM'd a little with DE yesterday. My situation is that my folks are in town until the 7th November and being that they traveled 6K miles to visit it'd be a but rude for me to play computer games. I need the child's tear from Fear which drops from a level 1 spawn after a golem has been killed. It is MQ'able by someone with non KOS True spirit faction. It's handed to a mob off the black reavers, and triggers an epic mob to be killed and looted. DE has agreed to pick up said Tear for me, if you manage to make Fear before I am more readily available. If it's harder, and you need slowz then I'll be back to my regular (later on PST) playtimes after the 7th. |

I'd like to get rolling on this ASAP. The drop I need doesn't necessarily occur every time you clear the golems, and I'd like to get this out of the way, and get Rane's tear as well. Fear is still rather painful just due to aggro issues and I'd like to get past it. It's nostalgic but... damn. |

Yes I need to go fear. Grouse probably needs something from there but I'm not sure what. I haven't talked to him all week so I don't know what his schedule is. I'm about halfway done with my epic now. Prince selrac hate fear and the hole (hole has to be done last or I have to go back) are the big fights. Everything else is turn INS. |

I can swing something tonight; my wife is chaperoning the band my older one is in for an away football game. As long as everyone is ok with an AFK for the little one to have stories and get tucked in, I'm up for it. |

I should be online sometime between 5pm and 7pm pacific time. If anyone is online earlier, someone needs to zone into Fear to see if its even fully spawned. This may be a very short, one-way trip if it's fully spawned and you get agro on zone-in. On the otherhand, fear can be a nice, quiet peaceful place if it's complete cleared :p If no one else has checked it by the time I get online after work, I will log in with Goji and see whats on the tracking radar. |

Also, for anyone who hasn't been to Plane of Fear before, it might be worth searching around and reading up on the zone, or you may be in for some unpleasant suprises. There are mobs there that proc (or cast) a translocate and port you randomly around the zone. Also, if the berzerker epic Imp is up, be prepared for an unfun mez-athon. Also, be aware of dracoliche. He's a serious undercon at level 55 (I think). He's got a lot of HP's. It's been a long time, but if I recall, two of the three golems (Dread, Fright, and Terror?) Death Touch. Best to try to let the mercs take those if at all possible. |

I understand that Terror does not death touch, but that it's hard to know which one will be in which spawn location. |

You can because you've done it before. I posted that information for others who might not have that experience and try to zone in to check on the spawn status. (i.e. Grouse, possibly Tobi, or even McFizzle) |

I have the tear.. however there may be a complication. It seems from ZAM that to turn in the Tear you need MAX Truespirit faction; the invis trick only brings it to indifferent. I may have to go back and do some of the early portions of the SK epic that I was able to skip in order to be able to do the turnin. If anyone has additional information, that'd be great. |

Apparently there is (or at least was at one time) an NPC in Erudin that will boost your truespirit faction by a trivial amount for the low low price of 1000p. I saw one accounting where someone went from indiff to ally after 92 hand-ins (ouch). Getting McDuff his own tear might be easier.... |

Maybe. I don't mind going and doing some of the early parts of the quest to boost faction. I read something indicating there's a guy that boosts it for a copper piece at a time... I wonder if its the same guy and its just any amount of money and mr 92K plat just didn't know that? (damn that would suck!) |

You can repeat the beginning of the shaman epic turn in repeatedly apparently if you have fast zoning from bb to n Freeport too. I hadn't heard that the tear turn in needed max ts. I thought it was the last one that follows the tear turn in. |

I'm not totally certain on this; I need to do more research I suppsoe the worst that happens is we dick it up and have to get you another tear. |
