At least at the high end. If you like having zones and such all to yourself, now is a good time to be playing on Trakanon. All of the Nukle Up and Armageddon officers and the majority of their members left for other servers this weekend. Frustration over their inability to recruit hard core players to raid high-end content seems to be the reason from what I'm hearing. There are 42 people in /general right now, and 20 of those are traders =( The upside of a server with very low high level population is that there won't be much farming of zones we are likely to be hunting/raiding in. The downside is that the economy is screwed. You aren't likely to find much in the bazaar, and if you are reliant on high-end tradeskillers, get busy farming and skilling up alts :p |

On the plus side, this makes it easy to make a "progression" type guild like we are, as you said. Whoo farming! |

I imagine we'll be rolled into another server before too long. I don't know what posessed Nukle Up and Armageddon to think they'd get all those hardcore players on a new server. |

We'll see what happens. Funny thing is if the two of them would have worked together instead of being dicks toward each other from the get go they could have combined and made things happen. /shrug I Imagine Sony will allow transfers in before they simply roll us in but I've been wrong before. |

I was just talking to one of the Nukle Up guys. He was part of their 'core group' (his words). Apparently the Armageddon guild leader (Darkkest) quit a week or so ago, and just left that guild hanging. Quite a few of their core members moved to Nukle Up. Unfortunately this caused some problems in that guild as there was some cliqueyness that some folks resented. Some stress over people being left out of HoT groups, etc.. caused a split of the Nukle Up core group, some of whom left to create their own guild (The Final Sanctuary). At this point the two leaders of Nukle Up (Zexon and Hawt) decided to bail on the guild and server and go back to their original server, and took a bunch of their 'core' group with them.... |

ah! guild politics, good times. Hopefully this won't effect us, beyond we have to hunt our own gear instead of buying it... |

So on a semi-related note... I finally made it in to the doctor. It wasn't carpal tunnel I was having problems with, thankfully... Just very bad tendonitis in both wrists. I've got a prescription dose of NSAIDs now, so hopefully between that and minimal use for a few weeks I can kick it entirely. I also seem to have what may be a pinched ulnar nerve in my left elbow- that may end up causing a greater problem than the wrists, but I'll have to wait until the wrists are better to tell how much of the problems it's causing. The relation to this post, of course, is in explanation of why I haven't been logging on much at all lately. It's not because of the low pop/preferring to play elsewhere, it's because I'm not logging in at all. If you guys need me to log on to tag officers/bankers, etc, please just send me a PM/e-mail on the Glade and I'll make time to do it- other than that, I'm trying to not log on at all for the next week or two. Logging on for short bursts and trying not to get tempted wasn't working as well as I'd hoped. |

So on the plus side, it seems that whoever had the kunark dragons on their 'farm' list is no longer farming them (i'm pretty sure that was Hawt from Nukle Up). I found the real Faydedar up yesterday, and when I went to Emerald Jungle to tack a mob for my berserker epic, Severilous was up. Both died, and their loots are in the Guild Bank (lots of spells, so check it out). Edit: And if my math and memory are correct (both very improbable), Zlandicar should be up again tonight sometime. I still want that damned Cowl of Mortality, even if it's pretty much too late for my berserker to use it. |
