I have a 59 shaman I leveled up a while back ... took a week or two with all the new stuff. I'm just looking for people to run classic content with and play casually. |

I haven't played for a couple of months... Also you know that all of SOE's games are currently offline due to this security debacle right? |

I'm with Midgen. I haven't logged in since around the new year when we lost momentum on the newer server. |

I logged in my characters a few times after activity in the guild died out. This was just before they launched the TLP servers. There were a total of about 10 people online on the entire server (trakanon) at the time. I left my station pass active just in case interest piqued, but once I started playing Rift, and it stuck, I cancelled. |

Wait, what security debacle? I haven't logged on since my home computer crashed. Can't install EQ at work, and I haven't yet replaced my home computer. And I'm a bit torn, since I want to get a Mac... Maybe I'll just start playing actual old-school EQ on the EQmac server. |

I posted this in the PSN security thread, but posting here just in case .... It looks like SOE is restoring services, although their website is behaving rather strangely.... https://www.soe.com/securityupdate/rest ... ncement.vm https://www.soe.com/securityupdate/welcomeback/ |

Do you guys play progression server? I bought the Seeds of Destruction package + Secrets of Faydwer about a year ago where I got all the content up to SoD/SoF but I quit right around Planes release. I can move my character if you guys play even semi-regularly. I don't mind soloing but what made me quit last year is no one I knew still played. I have a shaman and looking to make a monk. I just like to explore new content and take out old bosses for fun and nostalgia |

The Ranger's Glade guild was on the Trakanon server, and fizzled out just before they launched the progression server. Unfortunately, my account is not active, so I'm not playing at all right now =( |

So, apparently I didn't pay close attention to the 'welcome back' program.. This statement... soe.com wrote: Firstly, as a Station Account holder in good standing, you will receive 45 days of game time (30 days plus 1 day for each day of the outage) added to your Station Account. This game time applies to any game you have currently or previously activated on your Station Account. ...means that ALL station accounts get 45 free days of station access, not just 'active' accounts... |

I Have got back into playing, mostly banging around old world content on Seventh Hammer, or whatever it is now. |

I've got an active account but I haven't played in about a month, for the same reason as Midgen. |

So some 90SK took me to some zone and pulled the whole thing giving me 7 levels and over 30 aa's in a matter of half an hour. How the hell do I get my spells now? PoP spells are hard to come by and I have no idea how spells 66-70 work since I quit @ PoP. |

I think most people just skip PoP spells unless they plan to be there for a while. If you decide you want to farm some parchments, I found that the Gobby caves in PoN is a good out of the way place to farm them. I'm not sure on the 66-70 spells, but I think some of them can be purchased at a merchant, some are dropped, and some are quested via turn in similar to the parchments. A few minutes on allakhazam should help verify the specifics. |

Your best bet for spells is to buy the rank II spells in the bazaar or get a tradeskill friend to make them for you. |

Since BoT and Tactics are, or were, hotzones, that makes a decent place to get parchments for PoP spells. You won't be there long though, and PoP had that stupid random return on what you got back, so even with any time spent, you likely won't have all your spells. I used my level 90 ranger to PL a shaman in BoT/Tactics and picked up a couple dozen parchments. Still missing a few of the spells, but none of the spells from that expansion aren't upgraded by the next expansion. My shaman is missing a lot of the SoF spells, some of the RK2 SoD and UF spells and most of the PoP spells. You don't notice it. The only one I need to go get (vendor sold) is Thorn Wilt from Shades in SoF. Otherwise, most are store bought that you need. |

So reviving this late, but I finally got a computer set up that I can play on, at least some. Got a new computer at work, so I was able to take my personal laptop there and make it well, a personal laptop. Taking advantage of the free 45 days atm to get re-acquainted with the game. I'm moving and so don't have internet at home, but I've been dinking about some on the connection at work when I have a break. |

I logged in to Trakanon the other day. There were two other people on the entire server. Talk about a ghost town. I was mostly just reminiscing. I've forgotten how to play again for the most part. Looking through my characters inventory and bank, it's daunting to think about trying to play them again. So much catch up to do. |

I keep thinking about playing again, but for some reason EQ doesn't like my video card, even though it's an upgrad from the old one. I played until the first part of the last Beta before I got fed up. |
