Untwinked, you can probably stay in CB until 20 or so. Things slow down, but the loot is pretty good, especially if you take out Crush and D'Vinn (as you get higher). After that, I'd either head to Unrest or Mistmoore, or start working on the old-school Cleric Armor quests, and level wherever those take you. SolA is nice around that level as well, and SolA + SolB will take you up to 40 or 50 pretty easily. |

Dvinn chased us out pronto too ;-p hits for 41!! Everybody is telling me to head to Paludal Caverns next. Any idea where to hunt for Cleric armour? There's a guild on our server, Vintage, who play each expansion strictly linearly. they're currently in Velious. No pok books; they set to full AA and dont buy anything when they max level; no gear from other expansions; no spells; etc. They are crazy, but kind of admirably so ;-p |

Paludal is good exp, but it's not the most interesting place to hunt. I think the old world, Kunark and Velious dungeons are by far more appealing. The Ardent armor (see gloves quest) is the 20s-ish cleric armor from the old world, and the quests are a lot of fun, although time consuming. Definitely make you feel like you're everquesting. The armor isn't amazing by any standards, but were I starting over I'd work my way through those quests, and hunt in the according zones. |
