No I am sure it's connected just fine. It's still a little weird. Even in KOTOR back in the early 2000's your ship didn't take off every time you stepped inside.

And Khross, something tells me that you will actually go against what you said and pick this game up and play it. Likely within the first month. Oh, I am sure you will act like you haven't touched it. But you strike me as the type who's curiosity over a new game that everyone you know is playing will get the better of you. Heh.

Oh, I totally agree that it's strange to have the ship take off every time you step on board. I'm just saying that unless there's something I need to do that can only be done on board my ship, I'll probably only visit my ship when I want to go somewhere, in which case it won't bother me one bit.

I have to say, revelling in my inner geek, that having the party congregate on a ship and travel together is going to be awesome!

Now, if they make your ship one of the places to which you can "hearth" ...
