Skill Trees are being removed in favor of a 'Discipline' system

Hmm,of that works as advertised, that sounds like a great change. I was never very impressed with the skill trees

Yea, hopefully it will be better. I haven't given any serious thought to it myself.

I didn't mind the traditional skill tree system, other than the things mentioned in the article (i.e. Tanks not being 'Tanky' until they got to level30). I think they could have improved the current skill trees with an overhaul, by making the lower tier skills more unique (from a class perspective).

I would agree; they might have been able to overhauled the current system, rather than replacing it with a new model. However, I appreciate the fact that some of those skills are now granted free.

I love being able to spend points into customizing a character, but the current system almost forces you into certain spend patterns.

Once the min/maxers are done with their analysis, and the results published, it's almost certain that the same thing will happen ( everyone using the same 'build' ).

It sounds as if it will at least be unique. The current skill trees are just ripped from WoW (which were themselves ripped from Diablo.)

Came back to the game...have no idea what in the hell I am doing now. I lost attacks, nothing looks right. I think I am breaking out.

The Revan expansion came out a while back. They changed combat mechanics and re-did all of the skills.

I haven't played in a couple of months, so I can't help you with any specifics.

I'd probably head over to dulfy.net and check out her guides.

I think I still have a bunch of gear/mods I crafted for you on an alt somewhere if you need/want it.

I am thinking about starting over fresh. Learn as I go type of thing.

Also, yea, I really don't need the gear. I just want to figure out what in the hell is going on with my 55 Sent. Thanks though.
