Oricon? or CZ-198? Oricon is tough. If you are fresh 55 and not in Verpine'ish (69's) gear, you might want to bring a friend along. FYI, Oricon bonus missions are worth doing. They are very little more effort than the main missions, and the rewards are basically doubled if you do them. If you were on Harbinger I'd group up with you and run them with you. If you are so inclined, to gear up your level 55's do the [STAGED WEEKLY] on the Makeb orbital station, and the Oricon and Czerka CZ-198 weeklies. They all give Elite commendations, which you can use to buy Verpine (69) gear. The Heroic 2+ on CZ-198 can be two manned if both players have geared companions. Otherwise they are super easy to do via Groupfinder. They don't enforce the Heal/Tank/DPSx2 group mechanic for them (not really needed as there are heal clickies conveniently located throughout the instance. |

Oricon, I have not hit CZ yet. I had a little over 1.3 million in the bank so I picked up some gear off the market. I only got knocked out once. But that being said, I only did two or three missions there. |

The first time you do Oricon, the 'breadcrumb' missions there each reward you with a piece of moddable 66 grade gear. Once you've done them all, you will be eliglble to do the dailies (same as the breadcrumbs, but with fewer objectives. The bosses on Oricon are a bit of a challenge solo if you aren't in decent gear. Have your interrupts ready. You'll probably need some help with the Heroic 2. Also, go check out CZ-198. It's a step below oricon in difficulty, and the rewards are about the same (don't forget to do the breadcrumb at CZ-198) |

Do you get the 'breadcrumb' for CZ on the fleet? I went there today and only had the daily stuff. Oh and the Corrupted Bothrium Beast made me cry... |

The CZ 198 breadcrumb is actually the "Flashpoint Courier" on the moon itself. He should be in the corridor leading to the Reputation Vendor area. He sends you to Fleet to talk to someone, then you go back and do the two Heroic 2+'s, then go back and turn them in. Also, the Corrupted Bothrium Beast is actually really easy, if you do these two things (failure is not an option). 1. Interrupt his self heal called "Extract" as quickly as possible (don't waste interrupts on anything else). 2. Kill the little tentacle he summons quickly, before he sacrifices it. If you do those two things, and keep grinding him down, he is actually pretty easy for any class. |

Yea, the tentacle thing got me. I play up close, I couldn't see it so I just ignored it... Ooops. |

There is an announcement in red text when he summons the tentacle, and it shows up on your mini-map as a red dot as well. Thinking about it, this fight is probably hardest for classes that have a short range interrupt (Vanguard is 4 meters for example), because you have to stay in range to interrupt extract, and still be able to see and kill the tentacle quickly. One thing that always works. Run with a friend. When I go in there with a guild mate, it just dies so fast none of that stuff matters. |
