Anyone else still playing?

Double Experience weekends start this Friday at 1pm CDT, run through the next four weekends. Presumably leading up to the Rise of the Hutt Cartel expansion...

I have been logging back in. My Gunslinger is slowly working towards 50.

I've been playing my gunslinger lately. I spec'd her as a saboteur, and have been having a lot of fun.

The leveling was a bit of a challenge, but once she got her big AE dot (Incendiary Grenade) and Orbital Strike XS Freighter Fly By, she became a freakin' beast. Best suited for group/raid DPS role, and not so much for PvP or solo though.

Starting this afternoon, I'm going to level my last class to 50 (Sith Warrior). I've been dreading it, as I don't find pure melee classes much fun, at least in this game.

I'm still undecided if I'm going to go Marauder or Juggernaut, and which talent tree to use. Heck, I don't even know if I'm going Dark or Light (or somewhere in between).

Edit: corrected name of AE skill to the republic variant

Mine is Sharp shooter focused. Not quite high enough to pick up the orbital / fly by attack. He's pretty good in PVP if left alone to nuke. I am not very good with strafing and keybindings so quite crap at melee / close quarters.

My Saboteurs regular flashpoint group is her, a bubble sage (healer - w/earthquake), a shield spec vanguard and commando DPS (both with mortar volley). We have enough AE in that group to take out large groups of just about anything except the strongest elites and champions.

It's quite fun!

Cool.. I have managed a few FPs with the Slinger using the group finder. He can burn that's for sure.

I played too much this weekend.

I got my Sith Assasin from 40-50, and started a Sith Marauder, which has been a lot more fun than I thought it was going to be.

It turns out that the double XP thing causes some challenges. I was level 18 before I finished Korriban and went to fleet. The problem? I was still in level 9 gear!

Fortunately, I had some sets of orange gear from the cartel market, so I just had my Cybertech make a couple of sets of mods and armorings for her and her companion Vette.

I ended last evening at level 24. I suspect that if I'm able to play next weekend, I shoudln't have any trouble making it to 50 on her, since I have some time between now and then to pre-stage her with gear upgrades along the way.

I enjoyed the warrior questline enough that I have been leaning heavily towards creating another (but probably from a lightside perspective). Have fun, apprentice of Baras. :D

Well, warriors don't get the same reward as inquisitors. But that doesn't mean the reward isn't equally as awesome. :-)
