 Post subject: Dragonborn Miraak bug

When I fight Miraak, and he calls down and kills a dragon to heal himself, I absorb the dragon's soul instead of Miraak.

I've looked online for a fix, there are dozens presented, none work. I'm almost at the stage where I'm going to use the console to set the game state to having completed that quest and just bypass it, but it's pissing me off.

Bethesda said they were aware of this months ago, and still no patches...and this company wants to make an MMO?

No, Bethesda has nothing to do with the MMO. Zenimax Online is making it.

What does that have to do with anything? AOL publishes Time Magazine but they have nothing to do with the content.

That, plus there isn't the same imperative to fix bugs in a single-player game. They might or might not patch Skyrim at all anymore; it's 2 years old and there will be no more DLCs for it.

They specifically aren't making the MMO so they can concentrate on single-player games, like TES 6 which is in development. About their only real association with ESO is putting their label on it because people associate Bethesda with the TES franchise.

None of the other game forums have much more activity. Why close it? Its not hurting anything. I'm hoping it can also be the TESO forum.
