When it's practically an expansion.

Just released today.

That is one kickass resume.

Also, 20-30 HOURS of new content? Hell, that's 3-6x what most paid expansions are nowdays!

Hopefully if it's as good as it looks this dude will be working at Bethesda soon.

Moons of Elsweyr added its own zone content, and a good amount of it too. It also broke my save, forcing me to go back to an older save and lose TONS of progress.

Edit: Just saw this in the FAQ area:
Quote:
The uninstallation of Falskaar is NOT supported. It's simply too big. Treat Falskaar like a DLC, and do NOT remove it during a playthrough. Only remove if you are starting a new game. To remove (Only for new game) simply delete "Video/Falskaar_Intro.bik", "Video/Falskaar_Outro.bik", "Falskaar.bsa", and "Falskaar.esm". Failure to follow the above conditions will likely result in serious, irreversible damage to your save and is not recommended or supported.

Tread carefully. If you use this, I'd recommend forking a save specifically for that content only.

I was looking at this the other day. I wonder if it can really live up to what it is promising?

So far so good. It's definitely better than any fan made mod I used to try out for Neverwinter Nights, and they had some very good ones. While you can tell some of the voice actors aren't professionals, they aren't glaringly bad like some I've heard in other games.

Definitely looking forward to continuing to play this.

Did you play Shadowlords and Dreamcatcher for the original Neverwinter Nights? Because it was seriously some of the best fan made stuff I've ever played. I highly recommend it to everyone that owns the game, even though NWN is pretty old.

Also, apparently the guy that made this Skyrim mod got a job interview at Bethesda.
