There is a way to make most of your weapons appear on your model at the same time, WITHOUT using the complicated "Armed to the Teeth" scripting mod. I used ATtT for quite a while, and while it does work, it takes a ton of effort to add other weapon mods to it, and it introduces instabilities and weirdness, especially with dual wielding.

It seems, however, that you can make this work without any mods at all. Or at least, mostly work. You can display one weapon at each "node", so, as far as I can tell, 1 2-hander, 1 shield, 1 bow, 1 dagger, 1 1-handed sword, and 1 1-handed axe or mace can all be displayed at once.

How is this accomplished?

Go into your C:\Documents\My Games\Skyrim\ and open your Skyrim.ini file

Insert the below line into that file under GENERAL (should be the top section):

Code:
bDisableGearedUp = 0

Add the weapons you want displayed to your Favorites in the inventory.

That should do it!

I have no idea how this wasn't found sooner. When I first used ATtT that was the only method I could find to accomplish this. I think it might still allow the display of more weapons at one time, but like I said, it's painful and buggy and this ought to make most people more than happy.

Turns out there may be some issues with this, as well. It seems that the bow model wants to stick around in my offhand even when another weapon is there. It doesn't affect performance, but it's somewhat obstructionist of the view in 1st person, and of course looks silly. it's not hard to get rid of; you just unequip and requip your offhand weapon or spell (I haven't experimented with a shield yet) and it goes away, and then favorite and unfavorite the bow to get it back on your back.

This might just be due to lingering wonkiness on my install from AttT though, so you may not experience this issue.

Further update: I'm still not sure if it's leftover from AttT or not, but it does seem to be an issue with bows, specifically. The bow takes both hands, which makes it a main hand weapon that "blocks" the left hand from being used independently, but the bow shaft is physically held in the off hand, just like in real life. The character is always right-handed, meaning he pulls the string with the right hand - but the bow when just being held, is modeled in the left.

This seems to cause the bow model to get "stuck" on the left hand when hot-swapping to another weapon. Again, not sure if this is just due to leftover effects of my mods, but that's what's happening. Other than that, it's working well.
