There was speculation that the rumored Hearthfire DLC would be out before October and it would be about zombies. If your definition of "zombie" is to become a parent and homeowner (which may not be far off the mark), then the rumors were correct. http://www.joystiq.com/2012/08/28/skyri ... expansion/ |

Expansion: No. Still for $5 I'll buy it. I am digging that they are rolling to Xbox first |

I'll likely get it too. I am a sucker for games that give me options to buy permanent space and to be able to decorate them (something WoW utterly failed at, and SWTOR 50% failed at). And to all the whiners on that site? It could be far worse in terms of "meat and potatoes." Two words: Horse Armor. |

I'll buy it for no other reason that to turn my wife loose on it. Building a house and decorating is pretty much all she ever did in EQ2. She will love this and it will make Skyrim conversations a little less one-sided. |

Yeah I bought the horse armor too, and I honestly don't regret it. I just know it's a great way to get a point across to others who whine about paying for a dlc that doesn't have 300 hours of new content and gameplay. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2 |

Definitely looks worth having. I like all the existing houses in and of themselves but it's really hard to decorate them beyond putting books on shelves and weapons on racks and armor on mannequins. I hope it expands the possibilities more in that regard. The horse armor thing is nice to have too. |

I hope I can build an indestructible army of orphans that I can send to do my bidding just like in Overlord. |

It's meh. If you are willing to shell out the $$ and fast travel you can have a decked out mansion in an hour. I will try building my orphan army tomorrow. |

It seems they nerfed gold ingots pretty severely. You need them to craft some the furnishings. |

No idea, I have either 300k or 3mil gold so I don't pay any attention. |

darksiege wrote: I was thinking more... Xxx logs, xxx iron ingots, etc. Sent from my SGH-T769 using Tapatalk 2 I think that will vary heavily depending on the layout you choose right. The storage room for example requires a crapload of iron because of all the hinges and locks you need for the chests while the greenhouse needs a ton of clay for the soil and pots to grow stuff in and the library needs boatloads of logs for the shelving. |

I think I killed the Falkreath house dude previously for another quest. Nenya doesn't seem to want to talk about them. |

My housecarl in Windhelm was a male nord, who spent all his time alone in my house with my wife. One time I came home and the first thing he said to me as I walked in the door was something akin to "What are you doing here!?" or "I think you should leave" or something along those lines that NPCs say when they catch you trespassing in their house. After he made such a statement a second time, I asked him to follow me. I led him to a dark alley of windhelm, raised my greataxe, and promptly beheaded him. A smart man, living rent-free with a lot of alone-time with a married woman, doesn't tell a Barbarian Nord Dragonborn to get the hell out of his own house. |

I married Mjoll and some mopey dude came with her. I invited her to follow me and he ran out of the city. He almooooooost cleared the hill before my arrow dropped him. |
