https://robertsspaceindustries.com/comm ... -Alpha-220

Highlights:

-24 Players per instance

-Improved grouping: Lobby will actually try and match you with a Crusader instance large enough for your group and will hold spots for your group to join in.

-Monitored Space: Seriously go read the article, but essentially we have a very elementary criminal flagging system in place now based off the Com arrays

In Short its time to load up a Connie and keep Crusader safe in the name of VOID!

Yeah. I think I may try to block out some time tomorrow to be available.

I should be home by then. Grouse hasn't had the opportunity to patch. It takes down his entire internet so he has to do it when no one is using it. Since I was playing dnd5 with coro until 3 this morning he didn't get much patch time

I was just on and looking through the controls menu for, like, ten minutes trying to figure out why I couldn't toggle my cursor on to interact with the HUD -- no luck. Given that's going to be an integral part of inviting to groups, and that I'm pretty clearly coming down with a cold, I'm sorry guys, but I'm gonna call it an early evening. We'll try again another time, and I'll research the cursor thing tomorrow.

Grouse and I played on Monday. The party system needs some work, there are bugs involved in the loading process but once we got into an instance things were better. We were trying to track down bounties but they kept getting the better of us.

I did some solo pottering about. Following the ICC probe missions is quite interesting, includes a couple of rescue the civilian from pirates missions too.

Just crossed 110 million in funding. Is this train ever going to stop?

It's the only measurement of project satisfaction that matters, so I hope not. People can groan on the forums all they want, but if people are still spending things can't be that bad

People bellyaching on game forums generally indicate that things are going at least halfway decently. When things aren't, they move on to other forums and bellyache about games they find more interesting. Its when forums die out that a game is dying out.
