Pretty wild. I was spot on with my prediction on the Banu ship's capacity, cool. $150 and $250 pledges, respectively. CommLink wrote: We’re offering two special ships available for sale for the next 24-hours: the promised Banu Merchantman and the Xi’An Scout ship. Both of these ships were unlocked by Star Citizen backers, and they both represent how additional funding is allowing us to expand the games in new and exciting ways. Remember, all of these ships will be available in the finished game. Purchases today help Star Citizen’s development!
Xi’An Scout The Khartu is the light attack craft of the Xi’An military. Contrary to Human ship design, the Khartu doesn’t have a traditional main thruster, instead featuring an array of maneuvering thrusters on articulated rigs. This design allows for incredible agility, making them the bane of UEE pilots. The Aopoa corporation manufactures this export model, the Khartu-al, for sale to human civilians as a dedicated scout/explorer. Pick one up here! Banu Merchantman Banu traders are renowned for their merchant prowess, traveling the spacelanes and trading with everyone from humans to the Vanduul! Their sturdy, dedicated trading ships are prized beyond all other transports, sometimes passing from generation to generation of Banu. Pick up a Banu Merchantman for a whole new Star Citizen experience! You can pick one up here. (Pictured) Idris-P Additionally, a limited allotment of Idris-P corvettes will be available for sale throughout the day. Keep checking the store: we’re releasing four allotments of 100 each at times designed to give users around the world a shot. Idris-Ps will retain their original price for all backers and will include LTI for everyone. PLEASE NOTE: due to FinCEN regulations, packages over $1,000 can not be gifted. This includes the Idris-P corvette, so do not purchase one expecting to transfer it to another account! You can check for Idris availability here. |

I might pick up a Banu for christmass those hardpoints and shield stats are pretty sexy for that cargo space. Idris still way out of what I'll spend for a game that isn't out yet. |

Introducing the LA team since they don't get a lot of screen time on WMH. Dave Haddock will be talking about Squadron 42 later. Q&A time now. |

Talking a bit about how they are designing NPC ai in "profiles" that can govern how they behave, independently of the type of ship they fly. Number of hired NPCs peer player isn't fixed in stone yet because it's very dependent on performance. Chris mentions that he wouldn't want to allow more than 10 even if it was technically feasible because "this isn't an RTS". They're working on building skin customization type tech beyond what exists in Cryengine. Already working on emotes and facial expressions to plug in as early as the dogfighting module, so a character's expression will change and grow more intent if you're on someone's tail, or worried if you're being talked, and so on. |

Nope. Big interview worth the sound guy and orchestral composer about the sound and score, including a video that had some nice snippets and glimpses of the main theme. Now, we're back in Austin talking about the hangar module. Two updates before Christmas planned, hopeful that the Cutlass will be in before the end of the year... |
