It looks like the rest of my Sunday is pretty clear, so if somebody wants to try to get something going, message me on Google Hangouts. |

Thanks, Rane. I need to look into setting up a voice server again, clearly. Co-op Swarm is a blast. We didn't quite finish off wave 15... So many missiles! |

That was fun! I need practice at joining formation but we certainly cut them up pretty well. |

Should be moving soon, and then getting cable internet back. patching may be bearable after that. |

Both parties select Spectrum Match after choosing their ship. Then, one player picks Private Server, and the rest choose the third option, where they enter the alpha-numeric string the player who chose Private Server is given. Then, on a good day, you'll get put into the same server, and be asked to hit X when you're ready. Then the match starts. The window to distribute the match codes seems to be on the short side, and sometimes strangers will get out into your server.. I'm not sure if it does that when you take to long, or if it just bugs out sometimes. Unfortunately, Monday I realized I'd picked up a birch of a trojan somewhere, and the way it was recurring gift me worried that it might have been getting pushed by a rootkit, to boot. So I'm in the process of reinstalling (and taking the opportunity to upgrade to solid state in the process) slowly as I've got time in the evenings. Hopefully, I'll be back up and running mid week next week. Maybe I'll even remember my new passwords, lol. |

Right so how do we on here know when others are on in order to contact them (how to do that) and then give them that string? |

As for knowing when people are on... pre-arrangements, for now. The monthly report for October indicated Turbulent (the web and UI team) are working on infrastructure and UI features for friends lists and whatnot, with the intent to get them in along with actual lobbies in release 1.0, which is the next major feature release. If my prognostication is correct, I think they're targeting sometime close to the new year or January for 1.0... |

Ohh hrm. I guess I'll have to be in the chat section of RSI on our clan then to find people on at the right time? |

That could work. I can certainly start checking there (and leaving it open on my tablet/second computer) when I go to play. |

I'm on now, I go into my hanger and no ships are there now.... I also thought I would be able to fly the 325a but I still only have access to the 3001. |

They changed the hanger in a recent patch to be able to configure which ships you see in which hanger room. Try looking at the website and My Hanger, there is a Configure button in the section that details which hanger you have. There you can drag and drop your available ships into Hanger spaces. |

Hrm I only see the 300i not the 325a I have. |

Did you get a 300i->325a upgrade at some point? If so, you need to apply the upgrade before it's reflected. Go to the My RSI tab on the web page, and there should be a line item for Hangar. Scroll down until you see the 325a upgrade listed, then hit the arrow on the right of that line to expand it. There will be a button to apply the upgrade, which will have you select a 300-series ship (or 300-series ship-including pledge package) to apply it to (I imagine you only have the one) and confirm, etc. That will actually convert the 300i to a 325a for you. |

In other news, I've got my computer up and running Star Citizen, minus going in and duplicating my preferred keybindings. So on Monday I should be ready to play again. |

Thanks I applied the upgrade. Wow they don't make stuff simple. Can't wait to fly it. However with the new targetting changes I can't hit ****. Think I got to wave 5. |
