Was going to get a starfarer but those are out. Merchant, Combat, Exploration? Leaning exploration bit for me for now but making cash early in game with storage wouldn't be a bad option. |

Tomorrow, they'll be putting some of the limited availability ships back on sale for a week for the Anniversary. |

Also, we'll be seeing some new "spotlights" on some of the ships that make up this week's sale. Tonight is the Retaliator, tomorrow the Gladiator, Wednesday the Xi'an Scout Ship, Thursday I get to give thanks for the Caterpillar spotlight, and Friday they'll cover the Banu Merchantman. Each of the spotlights will feature fresh concept art and a bit of info about where it is in the pipeline and "why it's cool." On top of that, Thursday they'll do the reveal of the Javelin concept, and then Friday repeat the process (while rapidly selling out of the Javelins) for the Carrack military grade exploration ship. |

Right now I think something in Freelancer line. Dur or Mis Both can jump and run cargo. Mis is going to be like a little missile boat in combat. Dur has option for better scanning. Leaning Dur since better scanners will give better heads up on being attacked. |

I was actually going to recommend the DUR based on your first post, but forgot. Or the Constellation Aquila, if that's your thing. |

The Const Aquila is more pricey isn't it? |

They're similar roles, just the Constellation is bigger, a bit better defended, and crews more. And comes with a ground rover, heh. |

Yeah I'm not expecting to have much available except NPC crews. So I'll be running an easier to solo and easier to npc ship. |

And the Carrack info got posted, along with a neat little minigame that's kind of the text choices from FTL... I made it 90 days before my crew mutinied. |

2nd try, I ran out of fuel in 60 days. 3rd try... well, I won. In a shorter trip than my first try petered out... |

Yeah, I don't think we need to all be special little snowflakes in our ship selection. While having some variety is cool, in that ships come equipped stock for different roles, rolling around with six guys and 4 gunners in Hornets is a pretty awesome notion when we decide to go start (or prevent) some ****. |

I might have to slag my LX for the new MISC ship -- if an LTI option is presented. |

Khross wrote: I might have to slag my LX for the new MISC ship -- if an LTI option is presented. The first time any ship becomes available for pledge, they attach LTI. Subsequent availabilities lose the LTI. Ships with a four-digit pledge price always get LTI. Those three rules are their new standard. |
