Anyone know if this has been adapted, and where I can get it?

You want to look up the FFVII Ultima Edition. It's on IPT.

Couldn't you just grab a playstation emulator and play it that way? I was recently playing PS1 games on my emulator because my PS1 memory card finally took a **** and doesn't work anymore.

Sorry, thought I had given you an invite to a torrent site but apparently it was someone else! Anyway, you can find a torrent of it pretty easy.

http://www.epsxe.com/

Can get the emulator there. If you have the PS1 discs, you just have to put them in your hard drive and you can play. Otherwise, you can find the ISOs of the game in many places. Not quite sure if I'm allowed to post them here.

Well FFVII was actually released for the PC as well, don't know if you can find a torrent for that, also not sure if it would run right on windows XP or not since it was released for windows 95.

Thanks guys. I actually downloaded the torrents, but they wouldn't play for some reason. I guess I need the emulator.

The FFVII Ultima edition is the PC version compressed and patched to be used with Windows XP I believe.

Emulator would probably be the easiest at this point, though.

Yeah. But even prior to someone putting together the "Ultima edition" and the XP patch, it was still possible to get the PC version running on XP. Arguably, some of the community patches and improvements for the PC version make it "better" than playing on an emulator, but only arguably. I actually own the PC version and probably still have the disks somewhere. Even so, if I ever feel like playing it again, I'd be more inclined to just go torrent the PSX version. PSX emulation is much easier and more reliable.

Honestly the best version of FF7 right now exists on the PSN, where you can download and play it on either your PSP or PS3.

It's alright. The Final Fantasy fanbase is pretty evenly split between 6 and 7.

You didn't invite me.

My ratio is only about 1.8. (460GB up, 250 down).

fairly sure the tracker isn't working right for the guy who's uploaded 223,517.594 TB and joined 5 weeks ago.

Huh? Don't hate me because I reactivated my Pirates of the Burning Sea account, man! I don't even play Pirates, I play a frog privateer!

You know, IPT is good for getting popular stuff quickly. It's not that good for obscure stuff, or for music at all.
