Which multiplayer game would you get for the 360?
Borderlands 90%  90%  [ 9 ]
Halo ODST 10%  10%  [ 1 ]

My wife and I are going to have a low key holiday season since we just had our bathroom remodeled, so funds are tight. Unfortunately.

That being said, we're going to give each other a game. I already know what she's getting for the PS3, but I want something that I can pop in and play either on my own, or multiplayer either local or on XBL. I've pretty much narrowed it down to Halo ODST or Borderlands, but am torn between the two. Suggestions?

I voted for borderlands over ODST, simply because I think you will enjoy the RPG elements injected into borderlands more than you would enjoy playing Firefight or halo 3 team play.

I haven't played either...but Borderlands looks like way more fun.

I don't intend to buy either anytime soon, but if I could it would definitely be Borderlands.

I haven't played ODST, but I've played all the other Halo games. A LOT.

Anything Halo is going to have superior story and gameplay, but once you finish the story, then what? Shooting stuff for kicks only goes so far. Halo multiplayer is unmatched if you enjoy PvP. Personally, I think co-op is more fun.

Borderlands offers rewards on top of shooting stuff for kicks. Character & gear upgrades, Diablo style, is fun. :)

Location: The battlefield. As always.
ODST's multiplayer is pure co-op (with no matchmaking), but it does have the full Halo 3 multiplayer disc.

Borderlands has more replay.
