Shards of Dalaya bills itself as "first, and foremost, a legitimate emulated server based on a popular commercial MMORPG game." Basically, it's an MMO that uses the EQ world and engine, but with a completely different story line. Some zone connections are different; anything beyond basic weapons are different, quests are pretty much different. It's actually a really fun game, free to play, although if you become a monthly donator, you can get a some trinkets and stuff.

It's one server, with anywhere from 250-500 people on at peak hours.

Shards of Dalaya. I decided to JFGI. I had everything loaded, I followed all of their suggestions and it just was laggy as all get out.

Yup Artificers got me to load up and give them a try, and I must say Artificers is kinda silly. I wanted to see how far could go doing only Elite quests on Solo with my Arti, so far up to 11th level, (still banked at 10th till I finish all the level 8 quests) completing everything besides the Raids so far, (no von, chronoscope no devil's assault) The new bravery/elite bonus also can make leveling up even quicker now, sadly it still needs more, I love the combat of the system, but not enough new quests come quick enough.

Sarlona at least seems to be going back to the population slump again
