What the **** else were they supposed to do? Fang and Vanille sacrificed themselves to give everyone else a chance at life. They should be making the most of that life. Fang and Vanille would have wanted it that way.

I guess I don't view them as being dead and apparently they don't either. They were turned to crystal. And as we saw during the game, people that turn to crystal can and will return back to normal.

What bugs me is they always seem to depend too much on crystal-ly, sparkly, particle-y effects to wow you without giving you solid closure. Like Hop said, yeah, there was some celebration about meeting up with old friends. But what about mourning and honoring the sacrifice just made so Cocoon residents could have a chance at life?

How about some pictures as the credits roll (a la Tales of Vesperia) showing us the wedding? How about some pictures of the people building so we know they didn't all get eaten by a couple of King Behemoths on day 2 on Gran Pulse? How about showing us that Hope was helping rebuild instead of relapsing into depression? How about a celebratory reunion with the guys and gal of NORA?

I think good endings are something Japanese developers have always struggled with. I suspect its kind of the difference between them and western civilization.

Anyone still playing, or am I the only one doing post-game?

All of my characters have three maxed jobs now, working on the first roles for non-innate ones. I figure I've got about 3 million more exp needed. Should take around 35 more fights, or just around 3 hours by my clock.

I've been farming the Adamantoise in Eden with Sazh/Snow/Fang.. Kind of involved, but ultimately you get the hang of it. 5.3 million damage in about 1:50 for a total of.. just over 48k dps.

So far I've gotten 3 plat ingots so far and I think 2 Trapezohedrons, so I think I can make 4 ultimate weapons. Time to start the tough missions soon.

Really? I don't recall him being too difficult. Maybe two losses.

Start off sab/med/sab, debuff to max. When hurt, switch to sen/med/med. When not hurt, switch to sen/rav/rav.

those are my normal sets Lenas; the problem I had was that they switch my party to the same party I already had (fang leading, lightning and vanille as members) but screw with all my stances.

How hard is the egg to get? I was in Ch 11 but the thing that had that mission wasn't popped yet. I've moved on to CH 12, but once I beet the game I dunno how interested I'll be in getting the extra stuff. I still have other games to beat you know.

It was pretty easy once you hit a certain amount of HPs and Vanille has learned death. It can just take a lot of time for it to land and you'll basically die after 5 casts. So you'll end up starting the battle over many times until you can get death to land.

The mission doesn't unlock until you beat the Ch. 11 boss and have the option to run back.

People say you need a sentinel with 7k+ hp, but I had a hard enough time even when Snow was 10k+.

Yeah, I had Snow with 10K+ and no one would die until the Neochu did the scream thinger or whatever it's called.
