So I picked this game up through Steam a week ago and I can't stop playing. I guess it's heavily influenced by an old game called Harvest Moon but I never played it. It's a sort of farming/livestock simulator with fishing, mining, combat, and a social game mixed in as well. It oozes charm and is addicting as hell.
Apparently it was designed from scratch by one person who goes by the name ConcernedApe, including all the graphics and music, which is quite possibly the most amazing individual programming feat I've ever heard of.
Highly recommended if this type of game appeals at all to you.
