The Glade 4.0

I've tried several Zelda games, hoping they would each be the one that clicked with me. None have ever done so, not even the lauded Ocarina of Time.

I don't like open-world games. Too little authored content and too much choice leave me paralyzed.

That said...

I feel I can say, without hyperbole, that Breath of the Wild is the greatest video game ever made.

I have been playing it a lot as well.

I don't know if I'd call it the greatest video game ever made but it's a solid 8.5 or 9. Technical issues and some gameplay elements (or lack thereof*) stop it from being perfect.

* For example, the Wii U version was obviously gutted after the game was also announced for Switch. The gamepad is useless when playing. During one of the initial announcement videos, they showed it being used as a map. Don't even get that here. It also could have facilitated easy gear changes or food consumption, but no. If they left those things in, it would have been the definitive version, and we couldn't have that.

I am 3/4 done with the main "dungeons," have the master sword, 75 shrines and 70 korok seeds found. Missing two armor sets (Radiant, * of the Wild) not including the amiibo ones.
