You'll want to do it with the MTX Extractor, using the MTX client is problematic, because MekTek's servers still are too strained for it to work. First file you want is Mechwarrior4: Mercenaries MTX FULL Install (version .0021). Next you want Mechwarrior4: Mercenaries Patch (version .0021 to .0022). Lastly, you want Mechwarrior4: Mercenaries Patch (version .0022 to .0023). That will bring you to current.
