Actually, I'd suggest that strategy has a lot more to do with Scrabble than either luck or vocabulary. But, that's just me ...

Khross is right, its more about strategy (though a large vocabulary doesnt hurt) I do quite well win/loss ratio but My average word length isnt much more than 4-5 letters.
