Any major changes in 1.1?

Added enchantments to Bows
New Golden Apple recipe (Uses gold nuggets instead of gold blocks)
56 new language translations, including fictional ones such as Pirate
Slightly smoothed color transitions between biomes
Reduced brewing time to 20 seconds
Added Spawn Eggs to creative (the colors of the eggs even look like the mobs)
Added world type options (currently only super-flat and default)
Removed collision box from ladders
Sheep eat Grass, converting them to Dirt, and regain their Wool again
Fixed collision box on fence gates
Walking on Crops no longer tramples them

Bug fixes:

Fixed "Sniper Duel" achievement
Fixed Powered Rail Non-Depowering Bug
Fixed Powered Rail Failure-to-Update on Placement Bug

edit: decaying leaves can drop apples now, on the original design trees (not the white or the dark brown trees)

Anyone still playing on the Gladecraft server? I just started playing some over the weekend, but now it seems like it's no longer running.

We had moved it around a while ago after getting some wonky connection issues. I will poke Mook and see whats going on...

or he will read this thread himself before I talk to him

I've been having router issues in my house (router got fried in a thunderstorm), so the gladecraft server has been up and down a lot. AFAIK it should be running at the moment, but I can double check. And nobody's been playing on it for a while.

The new 1.3 patch is out, and with it, I have started a new world (#8 if you're keeping count). I have also upgraded the server to Hard difficulty, so be careful. Creepers in particular have been buffed so that a point blank creeper blast will insta-kill you in iron armor.

Cool, I've been waiting for 1.3 to come out to play some more. I might try out the server again, although the Hard difficulty scares me a little...

I found a jungle temple. Also, cats.

The temple was not very exciting: just a short hallway with two tripwires rigged to arrow dispensers. On the plus side, I got a few diamonds and some gold out of it. And I learned that tripwires exist.

I found a jungle temple last night, and a desert pyramid the night before. They're neat to find.

I discovered that today's date (20120804), used as a Minecraft seed, spawns you in front of a jungle temple.
