The folks working on a remastered version of the classic game Shadow Warrior have released it on Steam. It's also 15% off currently as well (so it's under 9 bucks). There was a period in my life when my friends and I spouted no less than 30 Shadow Warrior quotes per day. This game was based on the Duke Nukem 3D engine and featured (in my opinion) a better and funnier protagonist. It's every bit as raunchy as Duke, but with a more Asian flare. It doesn't look like they did a massive overhaul of the original engine (like the new Rise of the Triad game), but I certainly can tell they've spruced it up quite a bit. They've also added two new campaigns to the game as well. Well worth the price, in my opinion. |

Well, it looks like this game is getting the same complete overhaul remake that Rise of the Triad had. I'm saddened by the fact that Lo Wang is not the crotchety, horny, old ninja as he was in the original (supposedly it's a prequel). But, still, it looks kinda fun. |
