Anyone heard of
this game? I had read some good things about it a month or so back.
Knowing that I was going to spend an entire weekend at different in-laws' houses, I decided to pay the couple dollars and purchase this game to give it a go on my phone. I was surprised at how fun it is.
It's similar to a classic 16 bit RPG, but the twist is that you also pick the players who will be playing the characters. You also play as the dungeonmaster, so most fights are crafted by yourself as well (make them as difficult or as easy you like, reaping the respective benefits). Every player themselves bring different stats that they can add to the character you assign to them, and you can boost other stats by including items around the gaming room like loaded dice, soda, different tables, etc.
Definitely recommend this to anyone itching for an RPG similar in style to the 8/16 bit glory days (it's more western RPG than JRPG, though).
